Electrolux Laundry Systems i Ljungby gav oss uppdraget att utveckla ett inbyggt styrsystem för funktionsanpassningar. Det fanns ett styrsystem färdigutvecklat vid den tidpunkt vi fick uppdraget, men detta var hastigt framtaget med följden att det inte var särskilt pålitligt. Systemet bestod av en vanlig stationär PC med Windows XP som operativsystem och ett program för funktionsanpassningar skrivet i Delphi. Problemet med att använda sig av denna lösning var huvudsakligen ett behov av ständiga omstarter, då det verkade som operativsystemet samlade på sig skräpvärden efter hand. Önskemålet från Electrolux Laundry Systems var att ersätta sitt styrsystem mot en mer industrianpassad lösning för bättre stabilitet.

Abstract [en]

Electrolux Laundry Systems in Ljungby gave us the commission to develop an embedded control system for functional adaptation. In that moment when the task was assigned there already was a fully functional system, but it was developed in such haste with the fact that it was not completely reliable. The system consisted of an ordinary desktop PC along with Windows XP as operating system and a program for functional adaptations written in Delphi. The problem of using this solution was principally the need of constant reboots, as a result of the operating system collecting rubbish values. Electrolux Laundry Systems desire was to replace their control system with a more industrial solution to improve stability.
