The impact of visualization technology on different decision-makers (English)
Abstract [sv]

Arbetet grundar sig i hur en beslutfattare påverkas av olika visualiseringar och presentationssätt. De material som har undersökts är fyra olika husmodeller som arbetats fram och därefter togs fyra olika renderingsalternativ fram med hjälp av olika renderingsprogram.

Syftet med examensarbete är att undersöka vilket presentationssätt som är mest tilltalande för en potentiell kund och målet med arbetet är att generera ett underlag för olika företag inom småhusbranschen. Bilderna som är fotorealistiska och som visar byggnaden på dagen är de bilderna som fått flest antal röster.

Abstract [en]

The work is based on how a decision maker is influenced by different visualizations and presentation methods. The material that have been examined are four different house models that have been developed and then four different rendering alternatives were developed using different rendering programs.

The aim of the thesis is to examine which presentation that is most appealing to a potential customer and the goal of the work is to generate data for various companies in the home building industry. The images that are photographic and that show the building during the day are the images that received the most number of votes.
