Abstract [sv]

Sekt som organisationsmetafor är en kvalitativ studie som har i syfte att problematisera användningen av normativ styrning genom att introducera ett nytt perspektiv. Studien har en fallstudiedesign och bygger på en diskursanalys och intervjuer från tidigare anställda på fallorganisationen Walt Disney World. Arbetet har lett till nya insikter i hur normativ styrning kan ta sig i uttryck, bland annat alienation, aggression samt en enda sann lära. 

Abstract [en]

Sect as an organizational metaphor is a qualitative study with the objective of problematizing the use of normative control by introducing a new perspective. The study has a case study design and is based upon a discourse analysis and interviews from previous employees from our case Walt Disney World. The work has resulted in new insights on how normative control can be expressed, through e.g. alienation, aggression and one true creed.
