Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

Rolf conceals Jenny. She's too young, he thinks. He's too old.

At a nursing home in the village, his sister Gun is in a coma. Midsummer Eve is getting closer.

His other sister Ingrid wants them to celebrate Gun's birthday. All the siblings, including his brother Leif.

Rolf wants to say no.

But he can’t say no.

Jenny wants to get engaged. She wants to stay with him, despite his big belly and old-fashioned ways.

He can’t say no.

What really happened that autumn day, when Gun ended up in the water and her brain ran out of oxygen?

Why does Britta come home after so many years?

She is as beautiful as when she was younger and kissed Rolf.

And what does she mean? Whose fault was it?

This is a fictional text about people's relationship with each other and internal relations with themselves.
