Abstract [en]

Click chemistry is a popular reaction that can link two organic groups by a five members ring (three nitrogen atoms and two carbon atoms). This kind of reaction also has a higher yield in a lower temperature, not higher than sixty cent degrees in multiple environment-friendly solvents.

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of copper (I) catalyzed click reaction in different novel eutectic solvents and examine the factors that control the reactivity. We will use HPLC based assay method to determine the conversion rate.

There are three stages in this thesis. First, the reaction of substituted benzyl halides and various aromatic and aliphatic alkynes are tried in all of the deep eutectic solvents (DESs) and non-ionic deep eutectic solvents (ni-DESs) which have a melting point lower than 60°C. Then the liquid DESs at room temperature are applied to the known reactions that occur in traditional solvents. Finally, the unknown click reactions will be tried in DESs.
