Who is dissatisfied and why?  : A study on dissatisfaction (English)
Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study is to find out if and why dissatisfaction occurs among employees. The approach in this study is a mix of qualitative and quantitative method. The material has been collected through a survey with responses from 130 employees and interviews with ten employees. The empirical data and analysis is based on the interviewees' descriptions.

The theories that we have used in the study are based on areas affecting socialization, comfort and leadership. The theories have then been connected to the material we have collected.

The study shows that dissatisfaction is expressed widely by employees at the workplace. Our conclusion is that dissatisfaction arises due to an absent leadership and also when the deficiencies that the employees complain about are not rectified within a reasonable time. We also see that socialization has affect as this behavior has become normalized.
