Abstract [en]

Giorgio Parisi awarded with the Nobel Prize in Physics 2021 "for the discovery of the interplay of disorder and fluctuations in physical systems from atomic to planetary scales". We are happy to congratulate Professor Parisi with this award and the recognition of his great scientific achievements. G. Parisi is a member of the Editorial Board of this journal - p-Adic Numbers, Ultrametric Analysis and Applications. In this note, we present a brief review of some his remarkable research ideas and related developments, in particular along ultrametric modeling.
