As a result of previous research it was found that the design and development of technical systems solves the following four main tasks in practice - adapting an existing solution to new conditions, improving an existing solution, combining it with previously developed elements and creating a new solution. Proposed, from this perspective, is a new integrated design model. It is obtained by combining (overlapping) the methods for solving the four main tasks defined in advance. The development of the concept led to the improvement of the integrated model by specifying the place of the scientific research in it and clarifying the content of the work in the selection or the synthesis of the technical proposal in each of the four predefined cases. The current study explores the results from the model verification, performed by comparing the design and development processes implemented in practice with the content of the integrated model hereto proposed.
