I am, communication i Växjö har givit i uppdrag att ta fram en rumsavdelare i form av en löstagbar skärmvägg som i princip täcker från golv till tak. Huvudkraven för produkten var att den ej får skada den befintliga inredningen och den ska vara enkel att tillverka. Detta projekt har utförts enligt professor Freddy Olssons produktutvecklingsstrategi. Olika produktförslag har tagits fram och viktats och slutligen har de bästa gått vidare till konstruktion. Beräkningar på produkten har gjorts dels analytiskt och dels datorbaserat, för att bland annat kontrollera hållfastheten hos produktens ingående delar. Valen av standardkomponenter är baserade på beräkningarna som utförts. Skärmväggen är modulbaserad och kan därför monteras utefter användarens krav och önskemål.

I am, communication, in Växjö, has assigned a task to develop a room divider in shape of a detachable screen wall, that reaches from the floor to the ceiling. The main demands for the product were that it may not damage the existing interior and it shall be simple to produce. This project has proceeded according to professor Freddy Olsson's Product development strategy. Different product proposals have been compared and finally the best alternative in each group proceeded to construction. Analytical and computerized calculations have been made to control the strength of the product's different parts. The choices of standard components are based on the calculations, which had been made. The screen wall is based on modules and can therefore be assembled to the user's wishes and needs
