Följande rapport tar upp produktutveckling och konstruktion av en kompostreaktor. Konstruktionsarbetet inleddes i slutet av mars 2007 för att avslutas i början av juni.

Då gruppen hade relativt fria händer och ville ta fram något nytt började arbetet från grunden. Traditionell brainstorming och användandet av metoden morphological chart fick ligga till grund när de första koncepten togs fram. Koncepten redovisades för företaget. Ett valdes ut och konstruktionsarbetet kunde inledas. På grund av arbetets storlek skedde utvecklingsarbetet komponent för komponent. På så sätt skapades en struktur i framtagningsprocessen för underlättad överföring av arbetet inför fortsatt arbete av annan konstruktör.

Resultatet av arbetet blev ett mer utförligt framtaget koncept med möjlighet till fortsatt arbete. Några av kompostens delar är fortfarande i idéstadiet och då material, ytjämnheter samt toleranser inte bestämts, uteblev fullständiga konstruktionsritningar. Dessa har ersatts av noggranna skisser för att underlätta om fortsatt arbete skulle bli aktuellt.

The following rapport deals with the product development and construction of a compost reactor. The work started in late March 2007 to be concluded in early June.

Since the construction group were given relatively free hands and was striding to come up with something revolutionary. Traditional brainstorming and a method called “Morphological chart” were used when developing the first basic concepts. These concepts were reviewed before the company, which picked out one of the ideas. Because of the size of the project the development was broken down in to single components. This way a basic structure for development has been created to make it easier for a new construction team to continue the work.

This work resulted in a highly developed concept with the possibility for further construction. Some of the composts parts are still in a basic development stadium. Because material, surface roughness and tolerances not have been chosen, any construction drawings could not be made. These have been replaced with detailed sketches.
