My purpose with this study is to compare four Swedish parties when it comes to their education policy before the general election 2010, their similarities and differences. My purpose is also to compare the education policy today with the historical education policy in Sweden, from 1842 and forward. My focuse is on cognitive approach, the view on pupils and teachers, the guidance and alteration of school, school as a unit in society and utopia
