Abstract [sv]

Detta arbete gick ut på att förbereda underlag till Norden Machinery i Kalmar för en solcellsinstallation. Fokus låg på att göra en ekonomisk kalkyl.

Det togs kontakt med flera solcellsleverantörer, där två företag gav underlag för att kunna räkna ut vad anläggningar skulle kosta. Tre förslag togs fram och programmet PVsyst användes för att få ut hur mycket el anläggningarna kunde förväntas producera. Det gjordes kalkyler på alla tre förslag med antagna framtida elpriser och driftskostnader.

Resultatet visade att bara en av dessa anläggningar genererade en vinst efter en period på 25 år. Avskrivningstiden sattes till 25 år då det var så lång tid som det fanns en utlovad effektgaranti på solcellsmodulerna. Anläggningarna kan dock fungera längre tid och då kan även de andra alternativen vara aktuella och intressanta. En solcellsinvestering ger även andra mervärden såsom en bättre miljöprofil.

Slutsaten var att detta kan vara en lönsam investering i längden.

Abstract [en]

This work was done to investigate possible solar power installations for Norden Machinery in Kalmar. Focus was to do an economic analysis.

Contact was made with several solar power suppliers, where two companies gave information about costs for complete installations. Three different installation proposals where decided and the program PVsyst were used to calculate expected power production. Spreadsheets for all three were made with assumed future electricity prices and running costs.

The result showed that just one of these three proposals generated a profit after a period of 25 years. The amortization period was set to 25 years because that is the same number of years that the solar modules have an efficiency guarantee. The plants can, however, work longer and then the other alternatives also may be interesting. A solar power investment does also provide other values such as a better environmental profile.

The conclusion was that this may very well be a profitable investment in the long term.
