Abstract [en]

Companies skilled at attracting, developing, and retaining talented people have the competitive advantage in the marketplace. While globalization, the upcoming retirement of baby boomers and a growing skill gap are creating unprecedented pressure to attract and keep critical talent—those people who create the most value for an organization. What can leaders, managers or HR professionals in the companies do?

This article is from the company’s point of view to explore one of the biggest issues and challenges now facing almost every company: how to attract and keep talented people and offers some views and suggestions on what can be done to recruit and retain talent. As the competition for superior talent increases, firms will have to integrate attracting and keeping talent into their corporate strategy process, rethink the different ways to stretch talents’ capabilities and deploy onto projects and jobs that engage talents’ heads and hearts to recruit and retain, develop and manage talent.
