Abstract [sv]

Inom byggbranschen blir användningen av IT-system vanligare och vanligare, det spenderas mer pengar på att utveckla nya webbaserade projekthanteringssystem. Just projekthanteringssystem är ett av IT-systemen som ständigt befinner sig under utveckling i alla branscher. Speciellt inom svenska byggindustrin är ännu inte alla delar inom projekthantering digitalt anpassade.

Peab Sverige AB planerar att utveckla ett nytt IT-system för granskning av ritningar. Detta för att effektivisera den nuvarande granskningsprocessen, där en ritning blir till bygghandling. Med detta startade Peab ett samarbete med två studenter från Linnéuniversitetet, för framtagandet av en kravspecifikation på de funktioner som systemet måste innehålla.

Studien använder sig av två teoretiska ramverk, Computer-supported cooperative work och aktivitetsteorin för att studera och analysera Peabs nuvarande arbetsprocess som en aktivitet de utför.

Valet att använda kvalitativ data kom från participativ design, som stödjer för valet av datainsamlingsmetoderna. Metoderna intervjuer och framtidsverkstad valdes för att få en noggrann bild över användarna och de problem som användarna upplever.

Datan från datainsamlingsmetoderna analyserades med hjälp av Computer-supported cooperative works 10 dimensioner, aktivitetstriangeln och utifrån det kunde en kravspecifikation tas fram. Kravspecifikationen innehåller de egenskaper och funktioner som är nödvändiga för ett webbaserat projekthanteringssystem.

Abstract [en]

The use of IT-systems within the construction industry is getting more common, and the amount of money spent on developing such systems is increasing. Project management systems are one of the IT-systems that is in permanent need of development in all industries. In the construction industry, however, it has yet to involve every part of project management.

Peab Sweden AB is planning to develop a new system for their current blueprint review process. They are doing this with the objective of making their current review process more effective. With this in mind, Peab started a cooperative work with two studens from Linnaeus University, with the aim to create a new requirements specification of for the future system.

This study is using two theoretical frameworks, Computer supported cooperative work and activity theory to study and analyze Peabs current review process. Whilst studying the current work process as an activity.

Participatory design was chosen due to its use of quantitative data methods. The methods interviews and future workshops were chosen to create an accurate picture of how the users function, and to identify the problems that the users are experiencing.

The data that was received during the study was analyzed through Computer supported cooperative work’s 10 dimensions, and through activity theory to create the requirements specification. The specification specifies the technical functions wich are necessary for a webbased project management system.
