This study explores the contrasting political perspectives on migration and the treatment of unaccompanied minors within three major Swedish political parties: the Sweden Democrats, the Moderates, and the Social Democrats. The paper employs various theoretical frameworks to guide the analysis of key concepts related to migration, integration, and policy implementation. The material is derived from interviews with party representatives and their official party programs, offering a comprehensive look at their stances. Through the analysis, the study examines how each party’s political ideology shapes their approaches to migration, integration, and support for vulnerable groups. The Sweden Democrats advocate for a more restrictive migration policy, prioritizing self-sufficiency, language acquisition, and reducing segregation in vulnerable neighborhoods.
