Abstract [en]
The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive picture of the interaction between the National Democrats and the Sweden Democrats opinions regarding the immigrants- and immigration policy.
I will analyze my material using a qualitative text analysis and also a theory based on three concepts that my questions for this study will be based on. These concepts are “Being”, “Converted” and “Should be” The questions I decided to put to the text was: “Which are the Sweden Democrats and the National Democrats view on Sweden’s present immigrant- and immigration policy and what are the consequences for this policy regarding the parties ‘current party materials. “What are the party material`s ideal regarding the immigrant- and immigration politics when theirs politics has been put to practice” and finally, “Which approach is presented in the parties` official political documents on what should be done to achieve the prescribed goals of immigrant and immigration policy.”
The results show that there were very strong similarities between the National Democrats and the Sweden Democrats opinions regarding the conceptions “Beeing” and “Converted”. Regarding the conception “Should be” were the difference much more frequent than the similarities.
