The aim of this paper is to examine if the Swedish political party Sverigedemokraterna by visiting high schools in the three counties of Kalmar, Kronoberg and Jönköping managed to win more votes for them in the election “Skolvalet 2010”.
There were no statistical data that supported the papers theory that the Swedish political party “Sverigedemokraterna” would win more votes in the school election “Skolvalet 2010” by visiting the schools and informing and/or debating. To come to this conclusion the paper performed different statistical analysis where the variables “Swedish democratic presence at schools”, “Number of votes the Swedish democrats won in the school election”, “number of persons in the municipality with foreign background” and “Swedish democrats number of votes in the municipality election” all were tested against each other.
